PaisaCompass is written by a small editorial team. Our guides draw on official sources such as RBI and DICGC, and explain how cards, credit scores, accounts and loans work in India. We are not financial advisers, and our guides are not written or reviewed by a chartered accountant or certified planner, so please check the latest terms and ask a qualified adviser about your own situation.
How we choose what to recommend
- Our guides are based on research: manufacturers' specifications, Indian standards and mainstream safety guidance. We don't claim to have tested a product unless we actually have.
- Commission rates never decide a ranking. If a product is the best fit, we recommend it even if we earn nothing from it.
- We list the drawbacks of every product we recommend.
- We revisit our guides and correct mistakes when we find them or readers tell us.
